Miss Communication

This noon, when I was thinking where should I have my lunch, I just follow my foot, walking pass through the Delifrance, step over the Ichiban Sushi...

blur.. confused... finally set up my mind to eat one of the chinese restaurant behind the Giordano shop.

1 nice lady greets me with chinese, "Ni yao chi ma lao ban?", I respectfully nod because I want to eat there.

Then.. the lady starting to talk again, "Ni yao chi shen me lao ban? ji fan, ya fan". Hm... I answered, "Wo yao ji fan". "She took note, and ask again, "........" (cannot understand at this point)

I put my innocent face, and look through her face... She keep on talking in chinese.. (ooo Gosh... don't she understand that I'm a new bie T__T)

Suddenly, she took out the menu.. and pointing to the herbal soup...

Let me guess she offer me another menu...

The marketing stuff start here, and the miss communication started.

She offered me the herbal soup, while I thought she doesn't have the Chicken Rice, so I choose fried rice, and choose the pig herbal soup.

Suddenly she said, "Ni bu yao ji fan ma?" errr... I've realized that the chicken rice is there, but it's already to late.

Sigh... I wish that My chinese is improving, so can understand what the lady want to say.

That lunch cost me $7, quite expensive for a single lunch :p

I indeed should continue my study, or it will get worst....

Sigh... so jealous with people that can speak chinese language, sounds so nice.. the tone, how they speak..

Sadly this matter happened more than once..

1 week ago, a lovely lady came to me, and ask me in chinese...

Darn.. I'm so blur... the last word that I remembered come out from her lips is "Ni ting bu dong ma?" (hahahaha dui bu qi ah xiao jie)

Lucky, not all the lady that come and ask me speak in chinese.. :D

There was a time when a lovely lady come and asked about where can she find Delifrance.. hehehe that one surely no problem, since I know the HDB Hub area (especially the eating place :p). So I gave the correct direction to her, and don't know whether she reach there or not.. So after finishing my cigars, I went to the same direction that I pointed to her. Grin... I found her standing and making order to delifrance. (good good, at least my direction is correct :p)

So...... when will we take the intermediate course?
